Dale Fiddy Joins Rack Collapse Prevention as Non-Exec Director

Rack Collapse Prevention (RCP) has appointed Dale Fiddy as Non-Exec Director to support and develop its growing UK and European market presence.

Holding several blue-chip organisation senior roles over his 20-plus-year career within the supply chain, logistics and chilled food sector, Dale has a strong track record for developing commercial opportunities and business strategies.

Company Founder Craig Attwell commented: “It is a huge asset to have Dale as part of the team as we develop brand awareness both here in the UK and across Europe. His sector expertise and wide-ranging knowledge will help and accelerate our business growth plans whilst maximising commercial opportunities as we move forward. I am delighted to have him onboard.”

Annually in the UK alone there are over 700 warehouse racking collapses, with the shattering impact on business resulting in significant financial loss, business disruption, brand damage and at worst putting warehouse personnel lives at serious risk of injury or death.

RCP’s warehouse racking safety system is unique and the only top supporting warehouse racking safety system on the market. British designed and patented it’s installed in ambient, chilled and frozen warehouses and storage facilities in the UK and Europe. Fundamentally different and more secure than traditional floor-based leg-racking protection systems, with the safety support system in place, the risk of racking collapse from a single leg impact is removed.

Dale commented: ‘’I am delighted to be joining the team at Rack Collapse Prevention, the logistics industry has a well-documented track record of developing innovative solutions to deliver both the efficiency of the supply chain as well as continuously improving health and safety.

“Changes to legislation in recent years has led to an even greater focus on the health and safety of staff working in the logistics industry and in particular busy warehouse operations. I believe the RCP system is genuinely ground-breaking in terms of eliminating the significant risk to life and business continuity risk in the event of a racking collapse. I have no doubt that the RCP system will become a standard safety / risk management feature of both existing and new pallet racking infrastructure today and in the future.”
