Lee Whiting has recently joined the Board of Rack Collapse Prevention (RCP), a company dedicated to enhancing warehouse safety through cutting-edge racking safety solutions.
In this role, Lee will leverage his extensive industry expertise and network to further expand the adoption of RCP’s life-saving solutions across the warehousing sector across the UK, Ireland, Europe and further afield.
Said Lee: “I’m genuinely excited to take on this role and to continue building on the work I’ve undertaken with Oakland International. Over the past few decades, I’ve developed strong connections across the warehousing industry, and I look forward to introducing RCP’s groundbreaking safety systems, which truly save lives and transform storage, to an even wider audience.”
Lee’s appointment at RCP is the latest milestone in a distinguished career having steadily advanced to positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Group Supply Chain Director at Oakland International.
RCP Founder Craig Attwell remarked: “Lee’s arrival marks an exciting new chapter for RCP’s growth, and I am delighted to welcome him to our board and team.”
Craig Attwell, Founder of Rack Collapse Prevention, and Dean Attwell, Co-Founder of Oakland International, are brothers from the same family. Their shared background and family business roots have played a significant role in shaping both companies’ values and growth.
In addition to his new role at RCP, Lee has also been appointed Managing Director of Green Clover Developments (GCD), a Redditch-based subsidiary of Oakland International. There, he will oversee the development of sustainable food parks and environmentally friendly affordable housing.
